City council approves downtown committee membership
PRINCE GEORGE — The City of Prince George has chosen the people and organizations that will make up the newly created Select Committee on a Clean, Safe and Inclusive Downtown.
The committee was created by council at a special meeting last month to advise council and city staff on priorities and strategies related to key issues and work required for addressing social issues in Prince George with a focus on the downtown core.
The committee will be chaired by Mayor Lyn Hall and include five community members: Lynne Brown, Paul Burry, David McMullen, Shelby Petersen and Daniel Roy.
A number of organizations will also be involved including the chamber of commerce and northern health.
