PRINCE GEORGE — The Prince George Spruce Kings dropped the first half of their back-to-back set with Surrey Friday night, 4-3.
Despite a slow start, PG managed to take a 1-0 lead into the second period thanks to Nicholas Poisson’s 14th goal of the year, his first of two on the night. The second period was much more back and forth with the Eagles tying the game on an early shorthanded goal. The resilient Surrey team continued to battle back erasing three one-goal Kings leads before taking the 4-3 lead before the end of the period.
Mason Reeves put home his first goal as a King in hat second period.
