Prince George man arrested in theft from bait vehicle
PRINCE GEORGE–A Prince George man is being charged in relation to the theft from a bait vehicle.
On Thursday, Jan.9th the Prince George RCMP deployed a bait vehicle with bait property in the downtown area of Prince George. Within the first hour of the vehicle being deployed, a lone male suspect approached the vehicle and peered into the passenger window.
The suspect was later seen exiting the vehicle with bait property in hand. Officers approached the suspect on foot, where an arrest was attempted, however, the suspect began to run.
After a foot chase RCMP officers were able to catch the suspect and arrest him. 22-year-old Ulysses Sydney Nicholas of Prince George is facing charges for theft under $5,000 and failing to comply with probation.
