PRINCE GEORGE — A local entrepreneur is being celebrated for expanding her business. The Current Hair Studio started as a basement business five years ago and is now part of the ever-growing downtown.
The Current Hair Studio opened in its new downtown location in December from their old location on the Hart. With that growth, more staff members hired of both apprentices and stylists. It makes for a unique environment where employees learn and teach on the job.
Knutsen credits the Women’s Enterprise Centre for giving her the tools to building her business. She hopes to soon have another few employees so she can focus more on growing and expanding her business here in Prince George.
