Fort St. John 2020 BC Winter Games getting closer
VICTORIA–The Fort St. John 2020 BC Winter Games are right around the corner.
Starting on February 20th and running until the 23rd, over 1,000 athletes from all over BC will compete in one of 15 different sports. The athletes are an average of 14-years-old and will be the first time, for many, experiencing a multi-sport Games.
“Fort St. John, known for its northern spirit and energetic sports community, is ready to welcome the province,” said Alison Noble, President and CEO of the BC Games Society. “Athletes, coaches, and officials will have the opportunity to compete at quality sports facilities throughout community and experience all that these multi-sport Games have to offer.”
Over 300 coaches and 190 officials will take part in the BC Winter Games, and currently, there are over 1,600 volunteers.
