Funds for two causes

PRINCE GEORGE – Two local organizations have joined forces for a good cause.

Theatre Northwest and Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Prince George jointly hosted the Gin Blossom contest back on January 18th. The event transformed Theatre Northwest into a Speakeasy and, throughout the evening, guests sampled various gin cocktails including five that were created locally as part of the competition.

Today, the modest funds raised during that event were donated to two worthy causes: $500 went to the BC Burn Fund and $200 went to Prince George Animal Rescue.
