Ridesharing launches in Vancouver as Prince George waits

PRINCE GEORGE — Now that Uber and Lyft have arrived in Vancouver, can ride sharing in Prince George be far behind?

The founder and CEO of Uride hopes not. Cody Ruberto says he’s happy that Uber has made it onto Vancouver roads.

He says it makes him even more optimistic that his application to bring the service to Prince George, will be approved.

Ruberto currently operates ridesharing service in eight small to medium-sized cities across Canada.
