Prince George woman doing what she can to help Wuhan

PRINCE GEORGE — A Prince George resident with deep ties to Wuhan China – ground zero for the coronavirus scare – is doing what she can to help prevent the spead of a virus that has infected more than 1,200 and killed dozens.

It’s why Vicki Larsen is soliciting donations to purchase surgical masks to ship back to Wuhan – the city of her birth. Two boxes are already in transit and she’d like to send one more. Though Prince George is comparably small to Wuhan – she wants to do all she can to help.

“There’s a Chinese saying, a drop of water, can make a river. So, we want to do whatever we can.”

Fighting back tears, she says all the support she’s received so far has meant a lot to her.
