Police seize $18,000 cash along with drugs

PRINCE GEORGE–Five people were arrested last Friday (Jan.24th) after a drug bust related to a local group involved with drug trafficking.

In the early morning hours of January, 24th the PG RCMP conducted three Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrants at residences on the 2800 block of Norwood Street, the 2100 block of Pine Street and the 500 block of Ahbau Street.

The search yielded an excess of five ounces total of heroin/fentanyl, cocaine and methamphetamine from the homes along with $18,000 cash which were seized.

The busts led to the arrest of four adult males and an adult female, who were held for investigation and released pending further investigation and charge approval from the Federal Prosecution Service of Canada. Three other people were released on the scene.
