Freezing Rain causes travel advisory on Hwy.97

MACKENZIE–UPDATE: The travel advisory has been rescinded. (2:22 p.m.)

EARLIER: DriveBC has issued a travel advisory on Hwy.97 north of Mackenzie.

The advisory is in effect between Kennedy Rd. and Halser Rd. for 114.3 km (23 km south of Chetwynd to 9 km north of Mackenzie Junction.)

Freezing rain is the cause of the advisory, DriveBC is urging drivers to use caution.
