Access to healthcare tops concerns in CKPG poll

PRINCE GEORGE — Better access to healthcare – be it for mental health, rehab for drug addiction or improved detox for rural communities – topped this week’s CKPG Facebook Poll asking about the issues you care about the most.

Prince George-Valemount Liberal MLA Shirley Bond isn’t surprised adding it’s an issue facing communities across British Columbia.

Other issues of concern raised in our poll included the perceived need for affordable housing and concerns over crime in Prince George.

Many are also very worried about the future of forestry with the recent downturn and resulting job losses.
