Firearm incident on Jasper Street

PRINCE GEORGE — A tense morning on Jasper Street.

Prince George RCMP say at around 12:15 a.m. today (Jan.31), they responded to a report of a disturbance at a home in the 2400 block of Jasper Street.

“When officers arrived, they observed a male with a firearm on the property,” says Cpl. Sonja Blom. “Officers closed down a portion of the street and ensured that occupants of nearby homes were safe.”

At around 6:15 a.m., she says officers were able to resolve the situation without incident. The street reopened to traffic shortly thereafter.
