PG residents take in Celtic culture at final Ice Jam of Coldsnap 2020

PRINCE GEORGE — The final Ice Jam of Coldsnap 2020 featured White Rock, BC-based fiddler Kiérah teaching the difference between a handful of Celtic music styles. She performed in front of a standing-room-only crowd, clapping their hands and stomping their feet the whole way through.

Northerners who took in the show appreciated the lessons taught along with the music, saying they were excited to see a style of music not typically seen in this part of the country.

The different styles covered were Irish, Scottish, Cape Breton, Métis, French Canadian, and West Coast.
