2 dogs die in Gordon Crescent basement fire

PRINCE GEORGE — Three residents of a home suffered smoke inhalation and two dogs have died following a basement fire on the 200 block of Gordon Crescent this morning.

Prince George Fire Rescue says three fire halls responded at 5:15 a.m.

“The initial responding apparatus determined that the fire was in the basement of the home and were able to make quick entry into the residence,” says Assistant Chief Woodhouse.

“The fire was contained to the basement with heat and smoke damage present throughout the home. The fire investigation is currently being conducted.”
