Landry named 1st star of the week

The UNBC women’s basketball team is on a roll.

Winners of 6 in a row, the Timberwolves are one of the hottest teams in Can West and Madison Landry has played a big part in all 6 of those wins.

Thanks to her magnificent play last weekend in Regina where a shorthanded Timberwolves squad knocked off the U of R Cougars twice, Landry was named Can West 1st Star of the Week.

She also became the all-time leader in assists for the Timberwolves in Can West.
