Feb 5, 2020 | 3:15 PM

After a 2-4 road trip split between the lower mainland and the interior, the Spruce Kings are back in the city of Prince George this week for a pair of games.

The Kings will begin their brief two-game home stand Wednesday night when they welcome the Wenatchee Wild to the Rolling Mix Concrete Arena.

This will be the 2nd and final meeting of the season between the two squads, with the Wild earning a 2-1 victory back at the end of November.

Prince George enters Wednesday’s game at the bottom of the Mainland division with a 17-28-2-3 record on the year and are 7 points back of Langley for 4th with just 8 games to go in the regular season.

However, due to the current playoff format in the BCHL, the Spruce Kings officially clinched a playoff spot Tuesday night with Merritt’s loss in Vernon.

Meanwhile the Kings opponent Wednesday evening is coming into the contest with a 24-22-3-1 record on the year and are 5th in the Interior division.

Face-off for Wednesday night’s game is at 7:00 p.m.

The Kings will also be in action Friday when they host Merritt.
