The Exploration Place receives national attention

PRINCE GEORGE–The Exploration Place is receiving national attention for its dinosaur exhibit, all thanks to an Amazon Prime series that showcases it.

Dino Trails is the name of the series that showcases the dinosaur display at the museum in Prince George as well as the Six Peaks Dinosaur Track Site near Hudson’s Hope.

“We came to Prince George to film the dinosaur tracks that are on display and in the collections of Exploration Place. The dinosaur footprints exhibit is fascinating and easy for all ages to understand and enjoy,” said Brandy Yanchyk, series creator.

The northern BC episode featured paleontologists Dr.Rich McCrea and Dr. Lisa Buckley, both on-site at The Exploration Place.

The museum holds full-size dinosaur models and fossils from the area that are over 70 million years old.
