Cougars top T-Birds in shootout for midweek sweep

PRINCE GEORGE–The Prince George Cougars swept their midweek home doubleheader against the Seattle Thunderbirds, after a 2-1 win in the shootout Wednesday night at the CN Centre.
Cole Moberg scored the game-winner in the fourth round of the shootout, giving the Cats their third win in their last four games.
With the pair of wins over the Thunderbirds, the Cougars gain 3 points on Seattle for the last playoff spot in the Western Conference. They now sit 7 points back.
The Cougars look for their 3rd win in a row Saturday night when they return to the ice down in Langley against the Vancouver Giants.
