Timberwolves ready for a big weekend of basketball at home

To the hardcourt, it doesn’t get much bigger than this weekend for the UNBC Timberwolves Basketball squads in their final two games of the regular season.
The Women’s team has secured a playoff spot,but with a pair of wins this weekend could lock up home court advantage in the first round of the post-season. The Women’s team is also playing their best basketball right now, winning 6 straight. They will host MacEwan who is 2-16 on the year and will be looking to play spoiler. Meanwhile on the Men’s side, despite losing 11 in a row the Men’s team can still make the post-season with a pair of wins this weekend and a pair of losses by Brandon University. Unique start times for tomorrow’s games. The Women’s team will play at noon and the Men’s team takes to the court at 6.
