WestJet announces expanded flight to Prince George

CALGARY — WestJet has announced a new and expanded travel schedule out of Calgary for the upcoming year that includes a flight to Dawson Creek and an upgraded flight to Prince George.

The flight to Dawson Creek will be put into place on April 26 and it is a new non-stop flight to the city.

Starting April 26 the daily flight from Calgary to Prince George will be upgraded from the previous 34 seats Saab to the 78 seat Q400 plane, the upgrade is not only more people but will make the flight faster.

The new schedule will also include up to seven more flights a week to places like Winnipeg, Victoria, Nanaimo, Grand Prairie, Abbotsford, Fort McMurray, and Comox.
