PRINCE GEORGE–The long weekend is right around the corner and if you are looking for things to do in town, here’s a list.

Barkerville’s Family Day Weekend Celebrations:

There will be exhibits, performances, bonfires throughout the weekend. Festivities kick off on Saturday, Feb.15 and go until Monday, Feb.17.

Admission: Adults, $10 Youth & Seniors, $5 Children under 5, Free

Catch a Cougars Game:

The Cougars play Calgary on Saturday, Feb.15 at the CN Centre at 7 p.m.

Admission: Starts at $13

Singles Speed Date Yoga:

If you’re feeling the love this weekend, try out some speed dating and yoga on Saturday, Feb.15 from 6-8 p.m. at Yoga PG.

Admission: $20

Miracle Theatre – “The Birds and the Bees”:

Catch a comedic theatre show in the Art Space above Books and Company, shows are nightly at 8 p.m. except for Monday’s.

Admission: $34

Isitwendam (An Understanding):

Another option for those of you who love the theatre. Catch the uplifting, powerful and humourous performance of a half Ojibway, half-white, young man that is hired by Aboriginal Affairs to discredit a Residential School survivor’s claim.

Admission: $37

Family Day Carnival:

Mini Golf, a life-size Operation game, cupcake walk, make a dragonfly, sand art and face painting will all take place starting at 10 a.m. at the Kinsmen Community Centre and going util 4 p.m.

Admission: Free
