Truck drivers aid police in arrest of two theft suspects from the Cariboo
HUDSON’S HOPE–Two Cariboo men are in custody and a stolen skid steer was recovered after part of Highway 29 north was closed to the public on Wednesday as police searched for two armed fleeing suspects.
On February 12th, just before 8 p.m., Hudson’s Hope RCMP received a report of a traffic incident unfolding at the intersection of Highway 29 north and Farrell Creek Rd.

Police were informed that a white Ford 1-tonne truck had been spotted travelling southbound from the community of Wonowon towards Hudson’s Hope, towing a black flat deck trailer carrying a yellow skid steer. Police soon learned that a skid steer had been reported stolen from the Fort Nelson area the night before.
