Cariboo Cougar alumni commits to University

Prince George product Jeremy Gervais knows where he will be playing next season.

The former member of the Cariboo Cougars and current member of the Salmon Arm Silverbacks of the BCHL announced Wednesday he has committed to Lake Superior University for next season.

Since joining the Silverbacks prior to the trade deadline, Gervais has registered 14 assists in 15 games.

Prior to joining the Silverbacks this season, Gervais was a member of the Bonnyville Pontiacs of the AJHL where he had 7 goals and 28 assists in 36 games.

Gervais and the Silverbacks are currently battling for positioning in the Interior division going into the playoffs. They will wrap up the regular season with games against Trail and Merritt this weekend.
