Police seek identity of attempted break and enter suspect

DAWSON CREEK– Police in Dawson Creek are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect of an attempted break and enter on Thursday, Feb.20.

An employee of Groundbirch Gas Station discovered damage to the store’s door lock where someone had forcibly tried to gain entrance when he arrived to open the station for the day.

Video surveillance confirmed the attempted break and enter, showing that the suspect fled in a vehicle after failing to gain entry to the building.

Police hope that the public can identify the suspect with these photos. Anyone with information is asked to contact Dawson Creek RCMP: 250-784-3700 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
