PRINCE GEORGE – The residential construction practices and codes are evolving in the province, the focus is to build a home where the movement of air and moisture through the building is stopped.

Homebuilders from around the region put their hammers down today and took that time to learn more about the tricks of the trade to build an airtight home.

By the year 2032, every new home built in the province will need to be a Net Zero energy building.

The home will have zero net energy consumption. In turn, reducing the amount of greenhouse gas and improving the durability of the home.
