RCMP detachments across BC supporting Pink Shirt Day

Feb 26, 2020 | 11:33 AM

BRITISH COLUMBIA– RCMP detachments across the province are donning pink today for Pink Shirt Day.

Wearing a pink shirt on Pink Shirt Day symbolizes taking a stance against bullying. Bully is defined as seeking harm, intimidating or coercing someone.

The members and staff of the Upper Fraser Valley Regional Detachment are wearing pink to raise awareness to the issue and add our support in putting an end to bullying type behaviour, says Superintendent Bryon Massie, Officer in Charge of the UFVRD.
