Timberwolves reflect on rollercoaster season

It was an up and down season for the UNBC Timberwolves women’s basketball team.

After starting the season 3-9, the club rattled off 8 straight wins in the regular season and then won a round in the playoffs. They were then eliminated in the Quarter-Finals last Thursday by the University of Calgary Dinos.

However, it was a season of growth for the Timberwolves and a season of facing adversity.

During their 8 game winning streak, the Timberwolves were bitten by the injury bug and many times were forced to play with just 6 players.
