Giscome Elementary to remain closed for start of next week

PRINCE GEORGE–Giscome Elementary will remain closed on Monday, March 9, 2020, following a train derailment on Thursday morning.
Staff and students from Giscome Elementary will be re-routed to Blackburn Elementary for Monday, March 9. Buses will pick up students at their regular times and transport them to Blackburn Elementary.
Giscome students who live beyond the road closure will not be picked up, nor be expected to attend school. If families have made alternate arrangements for transportation, students will be attending Blackburn Elementary.
Students who attend Prince George Secondary and live beyond the road closure will not be transported by bus to and from school on March 9. As a result, students will not be expected to attend.
