Despite the Prince George Spruce Kings eliminated from the BCHL playoffs, there will be some Prince George flavour in the 2nd round of the post-season.
20-year-old Ethan O’Rourke of Prince George and former Cougar is alive with the Coquitlam Express. He had 2 goals and an assist in a 4 game sweep of Langley. They will battle the Surrey Eagles in the 2nd round.
Jeremy Gervais and the Salmon Arm Silverbacks swept the Victoria Grizzlies in the first round and Gervais had a goal and 4 assists. Gervais and the Silverbacks will battle the Trail Smoke Eaters in round 2.
Finally, Brandon Dent and the Nanaimo Clippers are into round 2 following a sweep of the Alberni Valley Bulldogs. The Clippers battle Cowichan Valley in the next round.
