PG stores starting to get hit by COVID-19 stockpiling

PRINCE GEORGE — The Coronavirus outbreak has caused much concern around health but it is also creating a trend across many department stores. It appears that hysteria has hit Prince George with stores like Superstore and Costco having their stocks depleted.

Locals we talked to agree the stocking up is a bit too much. One man said he thinks if anything, food and water should be stocked up on, not toilet paper.

There have been no cases of COVID-19 in Northern Health as of Wednesday.
