Police investigate after suspicious death

VANDERHOOF–The North District Major Crime Unit is conducting an investigation after a woman was found dead earlier this week.

On Monday, March 9th close to the 2 p.m. hour Vanderhoof RCMP were called to a residence for a check well-being call.

When they arrived they discovered a deceased adult female. Vanderhoof RCMP say that the death appeared to be suspicious, leading them to contact the North District Major Crime Unit for assistance.

Police believe that all people involved are known to eath other and no further information is being released at this time.
