New Fire Rescue truck rolled out

PRINCE GEORGE – Every year the Prince George Fire Rescue crews respond to around 6000 thousand calls.

Three weeks ago Fire Rescue rolled out a new rescue truck to adds its fleet. To assist with the volume of calls and specialty emergency teams.

It replaces the old rescue truck that was in serves for over twenty years that didn’t meet the needs of fire crews.

According to Fire Chief John Iverson, the fire rescue serves has evolved. Specialized rescue teams are sometimes required to respond to a call and this where this new rescue truck steps in.
