It was announced Thursday that the Western Hockey League would be following the NHL in postponing their current season.

The Prince George Cougars were on their way to Victoria to kick off a three-game three-night in three-night road trip Friday night.

However, when the news came out, the Cougars turned their bus around and made their way back to Prince George.

The Cougars players have now returned to their billets and are awaiting the next steps from the Western Hockey League moving forward.
