Prince George drug bust yields cash, weapons

PRINCE GEORGE — A traffic stop led to a drug and weapons seizure on Massey Drive near Masich Place Stadium last (Mar 16) night.

Prince George RCMP note it occurred at around 5:30 and say a passenger of the vehicle was recognized to have an outstanding warrant.

The 46-year-old Prince George man was arrested without incident. A quick search of the vehicle yielded a substantial amount of drugs and cash along with several weapons including hatchets, hunting knives and ammunition.

The suspect was later released pending further investigation and charge approval.
