UPDATE: Health Officials say 77 new cases of COVID-19 in BC
VANCOUVER—Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry along with Minister of Health, Adrian Dix announced 77 new cases of COVID-19 in BC today, March. 20.
This brings the total to 348 confirmed cases in BC. With 200 of those in Vancouver Coastal Health, 95 in Fraser Health Region, 30 in Vancouver Island, 19 in the Interior Health Region and 4 in the Northern Health region.
22 of those people have been hospitalized and ten of those people are in under Intensive Care. A total of six people have recovered in BC from the novel coronavirus
Henry ordered that all restaurants in BC move to take out or delivery only “as a way to best protect us” she said. Also reminding British Columbians that yes, it is okay to go outside but to practice the same measures you do inside—being with close family and small groups.
