Coastal GasLink breaks for spring thaw, monitoring COVID-19 situation

NORTHERN BC—Coastal GasLink has completed their winter construction program and it’s now time for a break, as the spring thaw begins.

In an update by Coastal GasLink the company says they went from 1,200 workers in February to 400 at the end of last week

Operations will continue once the ground is dry and it is safe for crews to continue work.

Coastal GasLink says they will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation closely and consult with appropriate health and government authorities before re-commencement of construction.
