E-Sports continuing to take off

With sports on hold due to the Covid-19 Pandemic right now many people will be working on their social distancing in the comfort of their own homes.

However, residents of Prince George could be taking to a different sport now that they are forced to stay inside.

E-Sports has seen a tremendous rise over the course of the last five years across North America.

Games like League of Legends, Dota, Fortnite, NHL, and Fifa are building incredible followings and growing to have professional leagues.

And the prize money being handed out for some of these tournaments have reached the professional sports ranks.
