Rio Tinto donates $50,000 to Kitimat Hospital

KITIMAT—Rio Tinto’s BC Works operation is donating $50,000 to the Kitimat General Hospital Foundation.

The donation is meant to support the hospital during the COVID-19 crisis. Funds will flow to the Kitimat General Hospital Foundation who will work with the Hospital Management team to prepare for the coming months.

BC Works has over one-thousand employees at BC Works and between three hundred to four hundred contractors working at site to produce aluminum and hydropower.
