Covid -19 Cancels Cancels Relay For Life

This years Prince George Relay For Life cancelled due to the Covid 19 virus

PRINCE GEORGE–Concerns over COVID 19 and social distancing guidelines has the Prince George Relay for Life , sadly having to cancel this year’s event. Organizers says they have to consider the increased risk for more severe outcomes for seniors,those with compromised immune systems or with underlying medical conditions,such as cancer. The Cancer Society is now working on celebrating Relay in a virtual way, and is also working on the development of an COVID Emergency Fund that will focus on providing additional services to those facing cancer during this crisis .
