Part of Hwy.16 west closed in both directions

PRINCE GEORGE—Hwy 16 west of Prince George is closed in both directions due to a major vehicle incident just before 11:20 this morning.

The Highway is closed between Guest Rd. and Hillcrest Way for four kms (7 to 3 kms west of Bednesti Norman).

According to RCMP a semi-truck and an SUV were involved in a collision.

Drive BC says an assessment is underway and there is currently no estimated time of opening.
