2020 edition of Hoops tournament cancelled

Many sporting events in Prince George have been cancelled and despite being a couple of months away, the annual Hoops 3 on 3 basketball tournament will not be taking place this year.
Organizers made the announcement last week, but they recognize that with the current situation with Covid-19, it is a measure which they need to take.
The 2020 tournament was set to be the 6th straight year of the event and was expected to be the biggest yet as schools from across the region and the province were set to take part.
Despite the cancellation though, organizers feel a year off will not affect the positive momentum which the tournament has built up.
