More medical equipment for health care workers

OTTAWA—Prime minister Justin Trudeau addressed Canadians this morning (Thursday) from Rideau Cottage saying that the government is taking the reign on providing safety equipment for frontline health care workers.

Trudeau said that just this morning Hamilton, Ontario received a shipment of 1 million masks to help front line health care workers stay safe throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

Trudeau went on to say that he will be speaking with the Premiers today as they need to work together to coordinate their efforts and sharing of data in order to find out what communities across the country need.

Once again the Prime Minister pleaded to Canadians across the nation to continue to follow orders put in place by Provincial and Federal health officers; comparing the compliance of COVID-19 health orders to the service by Canadian’s grandparents in the World Wars. “Now it’s your turn to contribute to the effort. You can serve your country by staying home and following the rules. I know it seems simple but its the only way to get through these times.”
