FRASER LAKE—It’s no surprise that many are feeling the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, and that includes small businesses.

The Village of Fraser Lake, Fraser Lake & District Chamber of Commerce and LoveFraserLake.com are coming together to create a campaign to help local businesses get through these difficult times.

“In rural communities like ours, jobs related to small businesses provides most of our local employment.”—Dave Christie, Economic Development Officer, Village of Fraser Lake

“Open for Business,” has required local businesses to adapt and create innovative ways to mee the requirements of social distancing, while continuing to serve the community.

Delivery options have increased in popularity at times even offering delivery as far out as 40 km’s from Fraser Lake.

“In a time like this where businesses are trying to stay open to keep people working and support area residents with everyday essentials, we need to get the word out.”—Dave Christie, Economic Development Officer, Village of Fraser Lake
