PRINCE GEORGE – The staff members at Edgewood Elementary are missing their school community during this time of the pandemic.

So instead of having the students come to them the staff hopped in their cars and drove past the student’s homes.

Monday at noon around 30 staff members left the school’s parking lot in a parade formation.

According to Principal Laurie Bryce, their mission was to connect with as many of the 212 students that attend the school.

The parade of vehicles made its way through nearby neighbourhoods honking. Staff wanted to remind the students that they still care about them via the parade.
