Central Mountain Air to temporarily suspend service due to COVID-19
SMITHERS — The COVID-19 pandemic has prompted Central Mountain Air (CMA) to temporarily suspend service starting this weekend.
The airline says it will suspend scheduled service starting this Saturday (April 11) and are planning to relaunch on June 8 “to support the re-building of the economy and connecting people.”
CMA adds that it “supports the efforts of Canadian and provincial authorities in their COVID-19 responses…in order to deter the spread of this pandemic.”
The airline says the temporary suspension was also made to help “minimize the exposure of our employees.”
