Rollover on Blackwater Road fatal

PRINCE GEORGE — A 19-year-old girl has died as the result of Thursday’s single-vehicle collision on Blackwater Road near East Beaverly Road. There were no other occupants in the vehicle.

At approximately 11:45am on Thursday, Prince George RCMP received a report of the incident happening just south of Highway 16. Frontline officers and other emergency services attended the scene. The cause of the incident is still under investigation.

The incident closed Blackwater Road in both directions for several hours.
