From a personal perspective of the current situation, Wright says this is a challenge in a unique time as this is the first time since she was 13 years old that she’s been without work. However, they have been working to help their clients with curbside pick up/delivery of hair products.

With The Pepper Tree having a staff of three people, she says it’s been very personable in the sense of coping with the pandemic, adding they’ve been very supportive in ensuring each other have the essentials.

With regards to at-home haircuts: for men, she suggests to take your time and be patient while urging women and girls to try to stick to trimming their bangs and split ends. As long as you leave hair, they’re able to fix it when day-to-day life begins to go back to normal.
