RCMP ask for help in identifying woman in local business theft

DAWSON CREEK—RCMP in Dawson Creek are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a woman police say stole items from a local store.

On Tuesday, April 7th, Dawson Creek RCMP received a call of a theft at a local business. An unknown woman had walked into the store, put numerous items in a basket and left the store without paying for them.

Police say witnesses reported the suspect heading towards 15th Street.
