Online forum available as trustees meet to receive KRSS engagement results

PRINCE GEORGE — A forum to receive the summary report from the public’s feedback and ideas regarding the Kelly Road Secondary School naming decision will be held on April 22 starting at 6 p.m.

The Forum will take place online and can be viewed by the public via livestream on the school district’s website. The information gathered from the public between March 20th and April 17th will be shared in an executive summary with School Board Trustees.

“It is for Board Trustees, as well,” continued Bennett, “we have seen and received so much direct feedback, from public protest to heartfelt emails, and we are eager to see some of the trends and themes int he data from this questionnaire.”

This week is the last week to provide input through the School District’s participation questionnaire, launched to involve the public in ensuring their concerns and ideas are considered regarding the KRSS naming decision on April 28.

The final decision regarding the new name will be made by the Board of Education at the regular public board meeting on April 28.
