Kings announce hiring of new trainer

The Prince George Spruce Kings announced Wednesday morning the hiring of Joel Walkey as their newest trainers.

Walkey, from Prince George, completed his bachelor’s degree in the Athletic Therapy Program at Camosun College in Victoria.

Walkey was also the trainer for the Saanich Braves of the VIJHL for the past 3 seasons.

“I am beyond excited to return to Prince George and to help contribute to a team that means so much to the community,” stated Walkey in a press release sent out by the Kings.

“I am thrilled the stars aligned and allowed me to begin my career in my hometown.”
